BIOGRAPHY
Transparent & Relevant best describe Minister RMB, an Evangelist/Rapper who deals with issues such as purity, sexual addiction, pornography, suicide, child abuse, and divorce. RMB is a seasoned veteran in the Christian music industry. Aside from his speaking and music ministry, RMB founded Project 61, a homeless and inner-city outreach ministry based out of Sacramento, CA. Since 2004, he along with a group of close friends have journeyed deep into the homeless communities to love the hurting and brokenhearted. His passion is to truly love others with no agenda. The Renewed Mind Brotha’s ultimate desire is to see people come into a personal relationship with Jesus, and for believers to grow deeper in their walk with God.
Minister RMB isn’t just talking about being the “church”; he’s actually living it out. He has decided to take a very intentional & relational approach when it comes to evangelism. RMB has chosen to go against the flow of today’s music industry practices, and think outside the box. During the past couple years, he has given away 20,000+ CD’s for FREE. His vision for the next year is to give 100,000+ CD’s with the Gospel message away for FREE into the hands of young people across the country.
Minister RMB’s music and lyrics are both original with a mix of West Coast rap, Urban Worship, and East Coast hip-hop. Lyrically, RMB writes songs that are relevant to the times we are living in, and relate the message of Christ very clearly, strongly and effectively. Throughout the past seven years, he has toured throughout the US and Australia, connecting with thousands of young people and seeing volumes of lives changed and commitments to Christ.
His latest release, “When The Storm Comes” features praise & worship artist/songwriter David Crowder and Stephen Arterburn, author of the Every Man’s Battle series and founder of New Life Ministries. On this project, RMB delivers one of the most heart felt and authentic albums ever released in the rap game. Tackling issues seldom spoke about in today’s Christian circles, RMB sends a loud & clear message to wake up and get out of our comfort zone. God hasn’t called us just to go to church…but most importantly BE THE CHURCH.
Minister RMB is currently working on a new CD/DVD called the “Carry On Project” – a resource for those who have gone through a divorce or weathered an affair. RMB is also writing his 1st book, which will be an urbanized version of “Every Man’s Battle”.
